It really is. I share the same thoughts with this guy. I kinda’ like him. Unfortunately I find myself piling up the wishes and wants, telling myself sweet excuses that hold an individual back in their comfortably numb race towards nothingness. It’s really hard. The death of a parent (almost both) is like a wake up call. Humans are a pretty nasty race. We get used to, we get comfy’, we forget to say, do things and we mostly realize what we had, what we lost only after it’s gone. Time, partners, parents, family, friends… all these “not so important” things that go along with qualities that aren’t worth much in our material zombie brainwashed trend whore world, like loyalty, honesty, love.
It’s really hard to maintain your balance and keep yourself on the middle path. Mr. duChemin’s post is a good read  ;)
